Park Na Rae is expected to undergo a third round of police questioning in May regarding allegations of workplace abuse and illegal medical procedures. According to media reports on May 10, 2026, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station plans to summon the comedian to investigate multiple charges, including special injury, defamation, and violations of both the Medical Act and the Information and Communications Network Act. While the exact date remains undecided, this follow-up investigation stems from her previous questioning sessions in February and March of this year.
Park Na Rae became embroiled in this legal battle in December of last year when her former managers accused her of workplace harassment and physical abuse. The former employees filed lawsuits alleging special injury and defamation, claiming they suffered significant distress during their employment. In response, Park Na Rae issued a firm denial of the accusations and filed a countersuit against the managers for attempted extortion and occupational embezzlement. Following her initial interrogation, which lasted over seven hours, she stated, "I engaged in the investigation faithfully and answered the questions truthfully." When pressed by reporters about the abuse claims during her second appearance, she briefly remarked, "I believe the truth will be revealed through the investigation. I am sorry for causing concern," before departing the station.
Park Na Rae is simultaneously facing scrutiny over allegations of receiving illegal medical treatments. Suspicions arose that she received IV drips and prescriptions for psychotropic drugs from an unlicensed practitioner, colloquially identified in reports as "Injection Aunt" Her representatives initially explained that she had utilized a legitimate house-call service and received nutritional injections from a licensed medical professional. However, medical associations refuted this claim, stating that the practitioner graduated from a non-existent "ghost university" and does not hold a valid domestic medical license. Following a formal complaint for illegal medical practices, police investigated the practitioner, issued a travel ban, and conducted search and seizure operations at affiliated clinics.
