ENHYPEN member Sunoo marked his birthday by making a generous donation to help pediatric and adolescent patients.
A representative from Samsung Medical Center told Dispatch by phone on June 24 that Sunoo donated 50 million KRW (approximately 32,400 USD) for young patients receiving treatment at the hospital.
Sunoo decided to donate in a meaningful way to celebrate his birthday. He has been steadily supporting child patients since 2024, and his cumulative donations have now reached a total of 200 million KRW (approximately 129,600 USD).
“I hope pediatric and adolescent patients can look forward to a brighter future,” Sunoo said. “I will continue to share the love I’ve received with many more people.”
In a previous interview with Dispatch last year, Sunoo revealed that charitable giving had long been one of his personal goals.
“Donating was on my bucket list,” he said. “Ever since I was young, I wanted to help people who were struggling financially once I started earning money. I didn’t want them to have to suffer, and that became one of my personal goals.”
ENHYPEN has also continued to take part in charitable initiatives as a group. On June 14, the group partnered with the World Health Organization (WHO) for a global blood donation campaign in honor of World Blood Donor Day 2026.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN is set to return on August 21 with its eighth mini-album, 'THE SIN: BLISS.' The release will mark the second installment in the group’s “THE SIN” series, which is inspired by the motif of sin.
