JTBC's upcoming drama 'Love Rediscovered' has temporarily suspended filming.
A representative for the production told Dispatch on June 23 that the team decided to take approximately one month to reorganize the project, considering the monsoon season.
According to the production side, the official reason for the pause is to refine the script. "The project began with a very limited number of completed scripts," the representative explained. "Filming will resume after the reorganization process is completed."
However, speculation has emerged that the suspension may be linked to the recent corporate rehabilitation proceedings involving JoongAng Group. The drama's production company, SLL, is a subsidiary of ContentreeJoongAng.
'Love Rediscovered' follows a divorced couple who once shared a passionate romance. After their separation, they unexpectedly cross paths again while living under the same roof and working at the same workplace, leading them to rediscover each other.
The series recently began filming following its casting announcements. Kim So Yeon stars as Jang Ha Kyung, a woman who returns to her hotel career after divorce, while Kim Ji Suk plays her ex-husband Lee Dong Jin.
Meanwhile, five companies affiliated with JoongAng Group have entered corporate rehabilitation proceedings, including JTBC, ContentreeJoongAng, JoongAng Holdings, Megabox JoongAng, and JoongAng P&I.
