
The film Colony continues its impressive box office run, surpassing 4.7 million admissions while generating widespread buzz through cast stage greetings and fan interactions.
According to the Korean Film Council’s integrated ticketing system, Colony attracted 603,868 moviegoers from June 5 to 7, bringing its cumulative audience total to 4,727,520 as of June 8.
The film has now remained at the top of the Korean box office for 18 consecutive days since its release, maintaining strong momentum into its third week in theaters.

Directed by Yeon Sang Ho, Colony follows survivors trapped inside a quarantined building during a mysterious outbreak as they battle infected individuals who continue to evolve in unpredictable ways.
The film’s popularity has been further boosted by stage greeting events featuring the cast, including Jun Ji Hyun, Ji Chang Wook, Shin Hyun Been, and director Yeon Sang Ho.
Photos and videos from recent appearances quickly spread across social media, with many fans praising the cast’s visuals and warm interactions with audiences. Jun Ji Hyun in particular drew significant attention, with viewers commenting on her striking appearance and effortless screen presence.
