ZEROBASEONE has officially kicked off the countdown for their highly anticipated Japanese comeback, unveiling the first poster for their second Japanese EP, 'Kaiki LOVE'. The new EP is slated for release on August 19, 2026.
The captivating poster, shared on the group's official social media on July 1, 2026, features all nine members set against the backdrop of a traditional Japanese house. The visual direction for the album emphasizes a comfortable and natural concept, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
'Kaiki LOVE' marks ZEROBASEONE's return to the Japanese music scene approximately 10 months after their special EP, 'ICONIK'. Their previous Japanese release garnered significant attention, topping the Oricon Daily Album Ranking and securing the number one spot on the Tower Records all-store album chart, showcasing their strong popularity in Japan.
The upcoming EP will feature a total of three tracks, including the title song "Existence," "Aphrodite," and a Japanese version of their Korean track "TOP 5." A member of the acclaimed Japanese piano trio Omoinotake participated in the production, enhancing the EP's musical quality. The album is centered around the theme of "circling back to you," promising to deliver ZEROBASEONE's unique youth narrative.
This Japanese comeback follows closely on the heels of their domestic activities, including the release of their sixth mini-album, 'Ascend', in May. ZEROBASEONE continues to solidify their presence as a top-tier 5th generation group with their consistent global endeavors.
