Kim Tae Rae of ZEROBASEONE will lend his voice to a special project honoring the legendary rock band Sanulrim. His agency WAKEONE confirmed on July 2 that Kim Tae Rae is the next artist to join the band's 50th anniversary tribute project.
The project marks Sanulrim's upcoming 50th anniversary, with junior artists and bands releasing their own reinterpretations of the band's classics each month. Earlier participants include acts such as Buwhal, YB (Yoon Do Hyun Band), Daybreak, Wonstein, YudabinBand, and Touched.
Kim Tae Rae will cover "Hoesang," a beloved track Sanulrim first released in 1982. Known for his vocals through both group activities and OSTs, he is expected to bring his own emotional color to the classic.
Through his agency, Kim Tae Rae said, "It's a true honor to participate in such a meaningful project celebrating Sanulrim's 50th anniversary. I'm even happier to have this precious opportunity to sing a song I've listened to since I was young. I sincerely congratulate Sanulrim on their 50th debut anniversary."
Kim Tae Rae's remake of "Hoesang" arrives on major music platforms on July 23 at 6 PM KST. ZEROBASEONE, meanwhile, is preparing a Japanese comeback with their second EP, 'Kaikilove.'
