SEVENTEEN’s new unit V8 (Vernon and THE8) has surpassed 600,000 copies sold with their debut project.
According to the Hanteo Chart, V8’s self-titled debut mini-album wrapped up its first-week sales with an impressive total of 622,000 copies. This achievement makes it the third-best-selling unit album in SEVENTEEN's history, trailing only CxM (S.Coups x Mingyu)’s ‘HYPE VIBES’ and JxW (Jeonghan x Wonwoo)’s ‘THIS MAN.’
The duo made their official debut on June 29 with the eight-track mini-album. Featuring the songs "Friend," "BEAT," "singasong," "mia (Vernon solo)," "coloring," "girlsnboys," "8DM (THE8 solo)," and "rat race," ‘V8’ explores themes of wandering, chaos, resilience, and growth.
Meanwhile, Vernon and THE8 are gearing up to embark on their ‘V8’ live concert series, which is scheduled to kick off in South Korea on July 11 and 12.
