Dara talked about her huge popularity in the Philippines on 'Knowing Brothers'.
On the October 22nd episode of the show, Dara claimed she and boxer Manny Pacquiao are the most popular celebrities in the Philippines, ranking him as the first and her as the second. She expressed, "I don't need a passport when I arrive at the airport."
Dara continued, "During screening at the airport, they say 'Sandara?' All my staff members get to pass too. It takes time to pick up your luggage, and people around will ask, 'Are you part of Sandara's team?' They find our luggage for us, and when I get there, the police are dispatched to clear the way for me."
