
A startup entertainment company GRID will be jumping into the K-Pop rookie boy group pool in 2023.
On August 1 KST, GRID confirmed the launch of its new 5-member boy group POW. The team is made up of Yorch, a former member of the Big Hit Music debut team Trainee A; the Korean-Filipino contestant Yoon Dong Yeon of the SBS survival program 'LOUD'; as well as Jung Bin, Hyun Bin, and Hong.
The team name POW symbolizes the group's aim of delivering a fun and refreshing explosion in the K-Pop industry. So far, POW has opened a series of short launching films ahead of their debut, introducing the group slogan "Creating culture everyday".
POW will debut some time in September of this year.
