BTS's Jimin continues to prove his brand power as he helps sell-out two items in a span of two days

Jimin's brand power is arguably one of the best for any individual around the globe. Not only do statistics place him at the top of brand ranking and popularity with respect to brand reputation for individual idols in the 'most preferred idol' survey, but the same results are demonstrated nearly daily on a business aspect. Time and again, different items go out of stock on various e-commerce platforms after Jimin is seen with the same items, irrespective of the price tag on the products. This past week has been another period that has seen him sell out different items on different occasions.

On September 8, YouTube announced an upcoming premiere of BTS's 'Permission to Dance' challenge, scheduled for September 9, 11:45 ET or September 10, 12:45 pm KST, on #RELEASEDonYT. The premiere started with an interview session where Chris Martin of the British rock band 'Coldplay' interviewed BTS on their artistry and musical journey.

Jimin wore a 'striped wool Henley sweater' from LOEWE, with a $990 price tag for this interview.

YouTube made the announcement on September 8, at 1.05 am KST, and within 72 hours, it was reported that two sizes had completely been sold out on the LOEWE official website.

What is more, the sweater had initially been priced at $990 at the time of the posting of the YouTube announcement, but then the price went up to $1,150 at the time of the reporting of the sold-out sizes, possibly attributed to the high demand for the product.

On a different online store, VITKAC, the sweater was also almost sold out completely, with only one item remaining per all three of the sizes in which the sweater is made. The price here had also risen to $1,089 by that time, which can also be interpreted as a reflection of the high demand for the item.

On a different occasion, on September 13, IN THE SOOP official account on Twitter posted the first official poster for the second season of BTS's version for the show.

In the poster, Jimin wore a long-sleeved Heron Preston T-shirt priced at $435, as identified by fans.

Later on, within 24 hours, the t-shirt was reported to have been almost sold out on the online store FARFETCH, whereby for two of the sizes, only one item was remaining per size.

In addition, only one item per size was available for each of the two sizes that were left.

It is evident that price does not influence Jimin's brand power, as both of these items could have been categorized as being high-priced for the mass market. All it takes is for him to be associated with any item for it to accrue demand quickly.

In addition, Jimin's strong brand power has a big influence across different fields. He is known to have influenced sales in jewelry, footwear, fashion, and even food products. It is for this reason that he was voted as the 'Male star who would be best suited to represent Tom Ford's perfume the best.' On this poll conducted by DC Inside between August 5 and August 11, Jimin emerged as the winner with 20,041 votes out of the total 33,245 votes that were cast, which was just over 60% of the total votes cast. Thus, Jimin is trusted to be a brand ambassador for any big brand for any kind of product.

Just a few days ago, the entire outfit that he wore for the '3J Special Butter Performance' video got sold out in just 2.5 hours for the pants and top, and 4 hours for the sneakers.

Prior to this, he had caused a sell-out of a t-shirt he wore in the post for the announcement of the return of the 'IN THE SOOP' show for the second season and a robe that he wore for last week's episode of BTS's variety show, RUN BTS, episode 150.

Jimin is truly one of the best brand ambassadors that any brand can have.
