Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding BLACKPINK member Jisoo’s older brother, a teaser for a tvN fashion survival program featuring her older sister Kim Ji Yoon has been released, drawing attention.
On April 22, tvN unveiled a teaser video for 'Kill It: The Style Creator War.' Kim Ji Yoon, an influencer and Jisoo’s older sister, had already attracted interest after her participation in the program was announced last month.
In the teaser, Kim Ji Yoon lives up to her nickname “Gunpo Han Hyo Joo,” showcasing striking visuals comparable to her sister Jisoo. Her strong sense of fashion also stands out, capturing viewers’ attention.
The controversy surrounding Jisoo’s older brother began with a report on April 16. It was revealed that an individual, identified as 'A,' and a family member of a famous girl group member, had been arrested in the act on charges of sexually harassing a female BJ (broadcast jockey) and was undergoing police investigation. Speculation later emerged that A was Jisoo’s older brother, sparking widespread backlash.
The situation escalated further when A’s wife alleged domestic violence and sexual assault, amplifying the controversy. As public pressure intensified, Jisoo released an official statement through her legal representative on April 20.
Jisoo’s side stated, “We have been living apart for a long time, and the family has no legal relationship with the company.” They also firmly denied the claim, adding, “It is completely untrue that he is the head of the agency.”
However, new suspicions have surfaced. It was revealed that in the staff credits of the Netflix series 'Boyfriend On Demand' released last month, a person identified as Kim (name partially withheld)—believed to be Jisoo’s older brother—was listed as the CEO of Jisoo’s agency, Blissoo Entertainment.

On April 20, Jisoo reiterated through her legal representative, “We have been living apart for a long time, and the family has no legal relationship with the company. The claim that he is the head of the agency is also completely untrue.”
Amid this situation, Kim Ji Yoon’s appearance on the program is drawing heightened attention. As controversies surrounding Jisoo’s family continue, viewers are closely watching to see what kind of presence Kim Ji Yoon will bring on the show.
Meanwhile, 'Kill It: The Style Creator War' is a fashion creator survival program aimed at finding the most iconic figure in the fashion industry. It is set to premiere on May 12.
